Canoeing in Wyoming

Canoeing

From calm and flowing rivers to alpine lakes, a relaxing day on the water is calling your name. Paddle the smooth waters of Grand Teton National Park. Our favorites include String Lake, Oxbow Bend on the Snake River and Jenny Lake. If you don't have your own canoe, don't worry. Several outfitters in Jackson can set you up with all of the gear and guidance you need.

Kayaking

Powerful rivers carved some of the most epic canyons in the region, giving way to rapids that call to kayak enthusiasts. Flaming Gorge, the Big Horn River near Thermopolis, Fremont Lake outside of Pinedale, the North Platte River in Casper and the Snake River near Grand Teton National Park all offer top-notch kayaking experiences.
