Trade Shows

The Wyoming Office of Tourism Global Sales and Services Team represents Wyoming at multiple international and domestic travel trade shows each year.  Trade shows allow the team to meet with travel trade professionals, tour operators, media contacts and other travel representatives.  The majority of the shows have one-on-one appointments with travel professionals and some shows offer a consumer component as well.  Qualified leads from these tradeshows are then distributed to the Wyoming Destination Marketing Organizations for follow-up.

The Global Sales Team also participates in numerous Sales Missions throughout the year in our Target Markets and in New York, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.  These missions help educate tour operators, travel agents and international in-bound operators about the Wyoming product and possible trip itineraries.

During these events, WOT will distribute information and resources about Wyoming, including a one-sheet fact sheet on Wyoming, called What’s New.  This sheet changes per trade show and is continuously updated on new and exciting additions to our product.  Click here to see an example of our What’s New sheet.  We encourage you to email Jennifer Adu any new items or businesses you would like to promote.

In addition to attending trade shows and sales missions throughout the year, each winter Wyoming’s Office of Tourism also comes together at the Wyoming Governor’s Hospitality & Tourism Conference and each fall WOT participates in the Fall Summit.  These two conferences offer further opportunities for education, networking, idea-sharing and product development with Wyoming’s in-state industry partners and government representatives.

WOT welcomes industry partners to attend trades shows and encourages them to attend both the Governor’s Conference and Fall Summit each year.
