Cody Night Rodeo

A Guide to Rodeos in The Cowboy State

The Cowboy State

Wyomingites often hang our hats on our reputation as “The Cowboy State” because cowboys and ranching are such an indelible part of our lives.

We are proud of our cowboy and rodeo heritage, and the fact that spectators can attend a rodeo somewhere within our state every night during the season. As you travel our state, you’ll see signs of our commitment to our cowboy heritage, including the bucking horse and rider symbol on our license plates and the helmets for our University of Wyoming football team. Cowboys and rodeos are everywhere – from Cheyenne and Cody to Evanston, Sheridan and Rock Springs.

Rodeo doesn’t get any better than what you’ll find in Wyoming, and our eBook, A Guide to Rodeos in The Cowboy State will help visitors plan an incredible experience.
