For the first time since 1979, a total solar eclipse is coming to Wyoming,
turning day into night for several minutes revealing the night sky.
Where to view
The center line of totality covers 365.7 miles across the beautiful state of Wyoming. Beginning near Grand Teton National Park, the line of totality heads South East across the state towards Torrington. In order to see total darkness, you must be within the line of totality. Wyoming offers some of the most gorgeous scenery to view the 2017 Eclipse. Come to Wyoming and watch the eclipse from a mountain top, on a lake shore, or out in the wide open plains. Our uncrowded roads make it easy to change locations quickly if needed!
