High Fire Danger

Wyoming is expected to have an unseasonably hot, dry summer and fall. Wyoming's public lands have rated fire danger as moderately high, including Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park, and may have fire restrictions put in place to ensure public safety and protect natural resources. Be sure to research any fire restrictions in your area and follow any requirements put into place.

Important Travel Notice: Bridge Construction

Crazy Woman Canyon (Forest System Road 33), a popular recreation area in Bighorn National Forest, is closed for the summer due to a bridge replacement project. The project is expected to be complete by September 2025. For more information, visit www.fs.usda.gov/r02/bighorn/newsroom.
